Restaurant management with Digital Menu and QR Code
A new dish, a price to update, a seasonal offer to present: your restaurant’s menu changes alongside your kitchen. With a digital menu, you can update your online offer without having to reprint all materials every time.
With **Ziblo**, you can create your restaurant’s first digital menu for free, organize categories and products, and present customers with descriptions, prices, images, and ingredients. Start with one language, one location, and a public page dedicated to your establishment, adding more modules only when needed.

What is a digital menu for restaurants?
A digital menu is the online version of your establishment’s offer. Customers can view it on their smartphones via a link or, if associated with the menu address, a QR code.
It doesn’t have to be a mere photograph of a paper menu or a PDF to enlarge on the screen. With Ziblo, you can build the menu through categories and product cards, keeping the details of each dish organized.
It’s a solution designed not only for restaurants but also for pizzerias, bars, pubs, agritourisms, and venues with varied offers throughout the day.
Why choose a digital menu instead of a PDF?
A PDF can be a starting point, but every update requires modifying the document and replacing the published file. A menu organized within a platform, however, allows you to edit individual items directly.
With Ziblo you can manage separately:
- categories, such as starters, first courses, main courses, and drinks;
- products and dishes;
- descriptions and prices;
- images;
- ingredients;
- tags and product features.
If the price of a dish changes, you can update that entry without rebuilding the entire menu. If your offer changes, you can review the products and their organization directly from the Ziblo panel.
What the free digital menu from Ziblo includes
To get started, you don’t need to activate an additional modules package. The free configuration of Ziblo includes:
- a digital menu;
- one language;
- one location;
- the Ziblo Page, the public page of your business;
- online reservations;
- Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy included, to be verified according to the data and services actually used by your business.
You can start by presenting your venue, publishing the menu, and setting up reservations. If later you need additional menus or languages, you can add the dedicated modules.
How to create your restaurant’s digital menu with Ziblo
1. Register your business
Access app.ziblo.it, create your account, and complete the initial setup with the name of your venue, business details, and the first location.
Choose also the public address that will identify your business, for example https://app.ziblo.it/nome-locale.
2. Organize the menu categories
Before adding dishes, define a simple structure for easy consultation. For a restaurant, you can start with starters, first courses, main courses, sides, and desserts. For a pizzeria, you can distinguish classic pizzas, specials, fried items, and drinks.
The goal is to help the customer quickly find what they are looking for, without creating too many or unclear categories.
3. Insert products, descriptions, and prices
Add individual menu items and fill in the useful information for making a choice. A recognizable name, a concise description, and an updated price are a good starting point.
For example, instead of just writing “Home cutting board,” you can describe what products it includes and whether it is designed for one or more people.
4. Add images, ingredients, and tags
Complete the cards with photographs of your establishment and your dishes, when available. Use ingredients and tags to better organize the information and highlight the features of the offer.
Pay special attention to food information: a label like “gluten-free” must correspond to the actual characteristics of the product and service offered.
5. Check the result before sharing it
Open the menu on your smartphone and verify names, descriptions, prices, and images. Also check that the categories are ordered and that no provisional content remains.
When everything is ready, share the link on your channels and in the materials of the restaurant.
Digital menu and restaurant website: a single starting point
With Ziblo, the menu can be part of a more comprehensive online presence. Through the Ziblo Website section, you can customize the content of the public page of the establishment, adding texts, images, a presentation of the activity, and contacts.
Those who consult your offer can thus learn about the environment and the information about the restaurant. By configuring online reservations, you can also offer a path that connects the discovery of the restaurant to the request for a table.
Do you have foreign customers? Add other languages
Ziblo includes a base language. If you want to present the menu in other languages as well, you can activate the Additional Language module.
The base language remains the reference for the content: when a translation is not available, Ziblo displays the text in the main language.
Before sharing a translated version, verify the names of dishes, descriptions, and ingredients. Activating a language does not mean all content is already translated.
A menu to start, others when you need them
The first digital menu is included. If you need to separate different proposals, you can add more menus through the dedicated form.
It can be useful, for example, to distinguish:
- lunch and dinner menus;
- drinks menu;
- seasonal offers;
- menus for events and special occasions.
To learn about the conditions of additional modules, check the Ziblo pricing page.
